Attention shooters! The Livingston County Road Commission has announced that road work will take place on Grand River Avenue in Brighton from April 7 through June 21, 2025. This is the main road that provides access to Island Lake Shooting Range.
🛣️ Here’s What You Need to Know:
- Island Lake Shooting Range will remain OPEN during construction.
- However, access to the range will only be available from the EAST.
- The recommended route to get to the range is:
- Take I-96 to Exit 153 (Kent Lake Road).
- Head south on Kent Lake Road.
- Turn right (west) onto Grand River Avenue.
- Follow the signage to Island Lake Shooting Range.
🚗 Please do not attempt to access the range from the west, Grand River Avenue is expected to be closed at Kensington Road.
