Firearm Returns

If you need to return or exchange a new or used shotgun, rifle or pistol – we offer a 3 day inspection period which begins the day that the product is delivered to the transfer FFL dealer. You must inspect BEFORE accepting the transfer.  New firearm purchases that are dispositioned to you from the transferring FFL are considered used firearms. Once a new firearm is transferred to you from the FFL, it is considered used – even if un-fired. Once the firearm is transferred/dispositioned into your name, returns/exchanges cannot be guaranteed.

EXCHANGES:

If you have ordered or received an incorrect firearm, Michigan Shooting Centers, Inc. will replace the product, issue store credit in the amount of 100% of the purchase amount to be applied towards the desired firearm, and send the receiving FFL a return label. If you wish to exchange, the firearm must be in its original condition with original packaging and the return must be initiated prior to accepting the transfer.

RETURNS:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the firearm you received and the 3-day inspection period has not yet passed, Michigan Shooting Centers, Inc. will issue a 100% purchase price refund and send the receiving FFL a return label to return the firearm.

To qualify for a full refund on a firearm item, the item must:

  • Have not been transferred/dispositioned into your name and the 3-day inspection period must not have passed.
  • Be in the original packaging.
  • Be unused and in the original condition.
  • Include a note indicating the reason for return along with the return merchandise

To initiate a firearm return, call Michigan Shooting Centers, Inc at 248-564-3640 or send your request for a return to info@mishoot.com to obtain authorization. No returns of merchandise will be accepted without prior authorization.

We DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items.

We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer is accepted, please contact us and we will arrange to have the firearm returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturers warranty policy).

By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. If we do receive a defective firearm that has already been transferred, we will simply forward the firearm to the manufacturer on your behalf. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees. However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number. We will not cover any additional transfer fees if that situation occurs.

If the 3-day inspection period has passed or the firearm has already been transferred into your name and you wish to return or exchange it, you can contact Michigan Shooting Centers, Inc. and request consideration. Depending on the firearm and the individual circumstance, we may be able to offer a partial refund or exchange/return the firearm with a restocking fee.
